With the announcement of Didier Drogba’s comeback to his former club Chelsea, we relive his last kick of the ball in the Blue shirt.

The signing of Drogba was announced earlier this Saturday, and the fans couldn’t just be happier. The Ivory Coast striker who scored 151 goals in 347 appearances in his first stint at Stamford Bridge return to the club on a 1-year contract.

Drogba, who was one of Jose Mourinho's first few signings at Chelsea in 2005 reveals that is was an easy decision to return to the club. "It was an easy decision - I couldn't turn down the opportunity to work with Jose again. Everyone knows the special relationship I have with this club and it has always felt like home to me," he said.

This was his last kick of the ball as a Blue, and boy was the moment special!

He scored a goal from the spot kick during the penalty shootout after the score was 1-1 at the end of extra time that secured a UEFA Champions League triumph for the Blues.
