This probably had to be the most comic situations in which a goal was scored and was probably the fastest equalizer ever.
It was during a match between Bundesliga sides Schalke 04 and Bayer Leverkusen where the latter got a penalty. Bayer Leverkusen’s goalkeeper took the penalty and scored to get his team up front.
The keeper after scoring was running back to his position as he was also getting congratulated by his teammates but by the time he reached, Schalke had already equalised as a direct shot from halfway line by one of their strikers was lucky enough to land straight into the net with the goalkeeper nowhere in sight. It was evident that the goalkeeper was not at all amused, but his teammates certainly had a good laugh about it.
