Following an emotional and pulsating end to UEFA Euro 2016, it is time for clubs all around Europe to get back to the matter in hand and complete their intended transfer targets. As ever, there is a new twist in Paul Pogba’s transfer to Manchester United and there is an update to Leonardo Bonucci’s move to Manchester City.

On that note, we take a look at some of the best transfer stories to have surfaced and gathered pace around European Football in last 24 hours or so.


Serie A

- Bologna have announced they have signed Simone Verdi from AC Milan, according to Whoscored. The player will be officially unveiled on Tuesday afternoon.

- Juventus have made their official move for Brazilian sensation Gabriel Barbosa, according to reports from Gazzetta Dello Sports. Barbosa turned down Arsenal and Chelsea as he prefers a switch to Serie A.

- Marko Pjaca will soon be a Juventus player after the Serie A Champions stole the march on Liveprool to agree personal terms with the crafty winger. The transfer is expected to be completed in next 72 hours, according to Gazzetta.

- Saido Berahino has turned down the offer of a new contract from West Brom, according to Sky sources. The four-year deal, offered last week, would have kept him at the Hawthorns until 2020. The 22-year old is keen for a new start and sees his future away from West Brom.

- Vincent Janssen will undergo a medical at Tottenham Hotspur today as he completes his move from AZ Alkmaar, according to Sky sources. It is understood the clubs have reached an agreement of £18.8m for his transfer to White Hart Lane.

- According to Sky Italia, Paul Pogba is odds on favorite to stay with Juventus next season after Mino Raiola’s latest comments. Raiola said: “As always said, yes Man Utd offered €120M for Pogba but Juventus don't want to sell him. The only way would be if Paul asked to leave.”

- Manchester City's offer for Leonardo Bonucci is causing Juventus problems, as they may be forced to raise the player's salary to keep him. City are now pressing as hard as they can on the player himself by offering €8m p/y salary, more than double his current one.

- Luis Gustavo has made it clear that he is assessing his options this summer and will not rule out a possible transfer away from Wolfsburg after their failure in qualifying for Champions League football.

- Mario Gomez has been tipped with a return to Bundesliga after a strong display at Euro 2016. Currently, Germany’s number 1 choice striker played for Besiktas last season and is linked with a move to several clubs in Germany.

- Andre Schurrle’s proposed move to Borussia Dortmund has been hit with a road block after Dortmund are not willing to give in to the demanded £40m transfer fee. Dortmund are keen to bring it down to £30m, according to Bild.

- Sevilla are expected to announce Joaquin Correa’s transfer from Sampdoria in coming hours after reaching an agreement with the player. The player is the first real summer signing at the club following the departures of Unai Emery and Grzegorz Krychowiak.

- Ricardo Rodriguez has emerged as a surprise summer transfer target for Real Madrid. According to Football Espana, Los Blancos want to get rid of Fabio Coentrao and see Rodriguez as the ideal back-up option to Marcelo. Teenager Borja Mayoral could make a move to Wolfsburg to sweeten the deal.

- Barcelona will entertain any offer beyond £23million for the struggling Arda Turan. Arsenal and Dortmund have been reported as the interested clubs.

- Graziano Pelle is still in the thinking mode to say YES or NO to the mega offer from Chinese Super League. The player is still hopeful of a call from Antonio Conte to sign him for Chelsea this summer.

- Pierre-Emile Hoejbjerg leaves Bayern Munich and returns to the English first division side Southampton. The player will undergo his medical later today and will be unveiled on Tuesday afternoon.

- Ligue 1 clubs (Marseille, PSG and Monaco) will have to splash close to £35million if they want to sign Moussa Sissoko this summer after Newcastle United placed a hefty transfer fee on the Euro 2016 star.
