Welcome to our daily transfer rumours round-up. The football transfer window has officially opened today, but clubs around Europe have been conducting deals in the last few days. As players slowly return to pre-season training, we take a look at the latest rumours doing the rounds today.

Dutch striker Vincent Janssen has been complaining in the media for not being allowed to sign for a Premier League side, whilst Jose Mourinho is keen on signing a former player.

Here are the transfer rumours doing the rounds on June 30th:


Serie A

– Napoli are hoping to convince Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski to snub Liverpool and sign for them, reports TuttoMercatoWeb. A fee of €14m has already been agreed between Napoli and Udinese, but the player is keen on signing for Liverpool.

TuttoMercatoWeb reckon Juventus are keen on signing Leicester City’s N’Golo Kante, who they believe has a release clause of €25. Juventus, however, are reluctant to pay his release clause and are hoping to finalise a cut-price deal.

AS Roma and Manchester City are in negotiations over the transfer of Pablo Zabaleta. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A club have agreed personal terms with the player. The Argentine will earn around €2.5m net per season plus bonuses, and has been offered a three-year contract.

Laurent Koscielny is being targeted by a German club

Manchester United are interested in signing Real Madrid star Raphael Varane, reports Marca. The Frenchman has never been able to establish himself as a regular starter at Real Madrid and now reports link him with a move away from the La Liga club. Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in him.

Arsenal star Laurent Koscielny is attracting interest from German champions Bayern Munich. According to Bild, Bayern Munich’s technical director Michael Reschke is a fan of Koscielny, and the Frenchman could be signed as a backup option to Jerome Boateng and Mat Hummels.

AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen has vented out his frustration for not being allowed to sign for Tottenham Hotspur. The Eredivisie side had already rejected three bids for the Dutchman, and a bid of €17m has also been rejected. The player has accused AZ for blocking his dream move to White Hart Lane.

“I trust AZ will talk to Spurs. If AZ do not, despite the offered amount, and Spurs drop out, then that is a blow to me.I’m not one to create war quickly, but how I react, I do not know. I assume that AZ realises that a transfer for everyone is the best.AZ are blocking my dream transfer and that makes me incredibly disappointed.”

Manchester City have announced the signing of Celta Vigo star Nolito on a four-year deal. Nolito will become Pep Guardiola’s second signing after Ilkay Gundogan.

"I’ll try to bring as much as I possibly can. I’ll do everything that the manager asks of me, try my absolute best and do everything I can to try to repeat the form I’ve shown throughout my career at various clubs,” he told Manchester City’s official website.

Is Diego Costa on his way back to Spain?

Barcelona have announced Brazilian star Neymar has signed a new deal at the club. The 24-year-old has signed a five-year deal with a release clause set at €200m, rising to €222m in the second and €250m for the final three years.

It’s no secret that Diego Simeone wants to bring back Diego Costa to Atletico Madrid. According to Spanish daily Marca, the Vicente Calderon outfit have launched a bid between €50m and €60m for Costa. The Spaniard is also keen on going back to Spain, and it remains to be seen if an agreement can be reached between all the parties.

Premier League side Sunderland are said to be interested in signing Vicente Iborra from Sevilla. According to Estadio Deportivo, The Stadium of Light side have already made an offer for the Spanish midfielder and have also contacted his representatives. Iborra, however, might not be too keen on signing for Sunderland, as Sevilla play in the Champions League next season.

Steve Mandanda has signed for Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace, today, announced the signing of Marseille skipper Steve Mandanda. It is reported the Premier League side paid around €2m for the services of the French international.

Southampton were in advanced negotiations to sign Hungarian midfielder Adam Nagy, but the deal has been put on hold by new manager Claude Puel, reports L’Equipe. Puel is reportedly keen on analysing the situation of the current players at the club first.

Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara could, once again, follow Pep Guardiola to his new club. According to El Confidencial, Guardiola is keen on signing the Bayern Munich midfielder. Pep Guardiola’s brother, Pere, is the agent of Thiago Alacantra and the Manchester City boss.
