Sunil Chhetri scored a brace in the first leg of the tie

The Indian National Football team have progressed into the second round of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with a 2-0 aggregate win over Nepal.

It was Sunil Chhetri’s brace from the first leg in Guwahati that proved to be the decider for the tie as the Men in Blue were successful in restraining the hosts to a 0-0 draw at the Dashrath Rangasala stadium in Kathmandu.
