Arsenal’s players celebrate Hector Bellerin’s goal against Liverpool

Arsenal dominated Liverpool from start to finish and finished the game with a 4-1 win. The game also saw Liverpool end with 10 men on the field, as Emre Can was sent off with about 10 minutes left in the second half for two yellow cards.

Brilliant goals from Bellerin, Ozil and Sanchez in the first half saw Liverpool stunned into submission. Liverpool made a couple of changes at half-time to try and mount a comeback, and were able to pull a goal back when Henderson converted a penalty. Olivier Giroud scored the 4th and final goal and confirmed Arsenal’s dominance on the day.

With this result, Arsenal moved up to 2nd in the table, 4 points behind Chelsea, while Liverpool stay in 5th position, 5 points behind Manchester United having played a game more.
