Twitter Reacts - The best of Twitter from last week

Marouane Fellaini

The weekly roundup of twitter reactions from last week in football. Twitter is the place where people from all over the world express themselves in 140 characters or less and it clearly shows that there is a lot of humour in people from all across the world, let that never change.

There were a number of big games this past weekend with the El Clasico being the most watched game worldwide which finished 1-1 thanks to Sergio Ramos

Here are the best reactions to that gameThe game started off a bit on the dull side.

Luis Suarez opened the scoring but some people never forget.

However, Sergio Ramos equalized in the 90th minute to rescue a point and draw the game.

Taxes, yeah, although Messi and Neymar might disagree.

Ramos broke another record though, well done for the most booked player in La Liga history.

This guy is a prophet or something, although he got the result wrong, but this is just freaky. Check the date!

Ramos received a hero’s welcome in the dressing room.

But this picture though, have a look at Ronaldo.. What even?

Before the Clasico was a brutal clash between Chelsea and Manchester City in the Premier League. This was ex-Chelsea and German legend Michael Ballack at half time.

Leroy Sane was possessed for a brief spell in the game.

Then De Bryune hit the woodwork for City, truth be told it was a horrific miss. A miss of the season contender for sure.

This was Michael Ballack soon after, “Look, look”

And when Willian Scored the second, it’s safe to say that’s as animated as a German can be and yes Michael, we all have that friend who doesn’t celebrate.

This guy got the best caption award.

While Otamendi became the latest City player to win this award.

However things got out of hand after Aguero’s horror tackle on Luiz and Chelsea fans were understandably disgusted.

Have a look at Nathaniel Chalobah’s reaction though. We all need a friend like him to back us up!

And Diego Costa running into the melee from the bench is simply awesome, never change Diego!

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was hailed after the win.

But Paddy Power were more concerned with Conte’s hair re-growing skills

If you ever want to understand the meaning of a bias, have a look at Man City’s official match report of the game.

On Sunday, Liverpool played Bournemouth in an unbelievable game that Bournemouth won 4-3.Twitter imploded as usual. We had to go past all the ‘LOL’s and *crying laugh* emojis to find these tweets.Fancy traveling to Bournemouth eh?

Liverpool’s inner darkside though.

Jurgen Klopp’s reaction was priceless.

Inside he would have truly been more like this though.

Arsenal won 5-1 against West Ham United courtesy an Alexis Sanchez hat-trick.But yes, of course, Alexis Sanchez will give that match ball to his dogs.

He also posed for a selfie with some kids and this guy thought that ended the Hazard vs Sanchez debate.

And last but not the least, comes Marouane Fellaini and Manchester United. Fellaini conceded an 87th minute penalty after coming on in the 85th minute and twitter slew him.Gary Lineker started things off.

And this darth-kermit meme is getting pretty popular – This time it’s inner Fellaini.

Yup, this one is a mystery.

While this guy knew the answer.

But this was the highlight from that game. A Chelsea fan at a Man United v Everton game, interesting indeed.

That is all from the twitter universe.
