Now that we are done with the group stage round of the Champions League, we move on to the next round, ie. the round of 16 which comprises of all the teams who have qualified from the first round of the tournament. Two seeding pots are formed of which one consists of the group winners while the other has runner-ups.
The draw is open for all teams as any side could face anyone except for teams from the same nation or group who will not be allowed to play against one another. And, even though the draw for the Round of 16 will not be announced until Monday, we can still predict the probability percentage of clubs facing each other.
The group winners will be playing away in their first leg on 17/18 and 24/25 February while their home fixtures are scheduled for 10/11 and 17/18 March.
