The 2015/16 UEFA Europa League Round of 32 draw took place in Nyon, Switzerland today and defending champions Sevilla have been drawn against Norwegian side Molde. Premier League side Liverpool were handed a relatively comfortable tie against Bundesliga side FC Augsburg. Meanwhile, the draw wasn’t really kind to North London sideTottenham Hotspurs as they were paired with Italian high-fliers Fiorentina.
Manchester United, who found themselves in the Europa Lague after crashing out of contention for the Champions League, were handed a favourable draw in the form of Danish side FC Midtjylland.
There will be two pots for the round of 32 draw: the 12 group winners and the four best third-ranked teams in the UEFA Champions League group stage are seeded. The group winners and four best third-placed teams in the UEFA Champions League will be drawn against the 12 group runners-up and the remaining third-placed UEFA Champions League sides.
