Memphis Depay just finished a £25 million transfer to Manchester United from PSV. If that’s not news for you, we have more. Depay officially unveiled Under Armour SpeedForm CRM football boots on May 14, 2015. Although he already gave a first look of the boot in his last match for PSV.
Under Armour is on the rise in sports industry. This US based company overtook Adidas as the second biggest sports company in United States of America. It certainly hopes to increase its global presence in the coming years. So, no kidding, time to take Under Armour seriously.

The first colorway of the new SpeedForm football boot features a stunning blueish green color for the upper, and lime green for the soleplate and the heel cup. The second colorway features a striking blue for the upper and contrasting red/orange for the soleplate and the heel cup. A black sock-liner is present on both the colorways.
These are the two available synthetic variants of the boot at the moment. Soon, Under Armour plans to launch a boot with synthetic leather upper.
SpeedForm was originally a running shoe form Under Armour but now it has transcended to a great football boot. It can be categorized into the speed boot sector. Under Armour have designed this boot with customized fit for all the players. The boot truly excels is in its subtle but unique innovations. Don’t expect Dynamic Fit collar or carbon fiber soleplate though.
The Under Armour SpeedForm Soccer Boots boast a single-piece upper and an articulated toe box. The toe box helps your foot to glide in smooth and easy. It also features a lightweight chrome sole-plate for improved traction and explosive first step. A seamless heel cup further increases stability and reduces any irritation.
There’s no innersole, the seamless sock-liner with comfort zones take its place. Seamless sock liner construction maximizes acceleration and eliminates the need for a break-in period. It features triangular studs for improved acceleration on FG surfaces.
Unlike other football boots form Adidas and Nike, SpeedForm CRM will feature a tongue, no tongue-less design here.
The football boot weighs around 210 grams. It’s fairly light but still no way close to Adidas Adizero Crazylight 99g.
SpeedForm is available for sale form June 1, 2015 and will retail at a price of £150 i.e. around 15,000 INR. Availability in India is TBA.
