Atletico Madrid ran riot to continue their 100% start to the La Liga season with a 5-0 victory at Rayo Vallecano.
Raul Garcia got on the score sheet twice with goal in the 17th and 90th minutes. Diego Costa grabbed a goal in the 21st minute before Arda Turan rounded off the first half scoring with Atletico’s third in the 35th minute. Tiago Cardoso Mendes scored Atletico’s fourth in the 53rd minute with a well placed header.
