Often regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of this era, Paul Scholes is idolized by not just young players wanting to make it into the big picture, but also well-established players like Bastian Schweinsteiger for instance.
During the Legends match between Manchester United and Bayern Munich, Scholes told the journalists that he had given the German midfielder his shirt when asked about where his numbered shirt was.
“I've given it to Schweinsteiger,” Scholes told the reporter. “He asked me for a shirt at half time so I gave it to him. He gave me a shirt too which was nice because he's an amazing footballer, he's just won the World Cup. It was nice to speak to him.”
