Didier Drogba
Drogba rolled back the years

Didier Drogba doesn’t seem to have lost his golden touch even at the age of 38. The Ivorian had a specialty when it came to free kicks when he was playing for Chelsea and he reminded us of those glory days once more when he drove a wonderful effort in the top right corner.

Drogba currently plays for Montreal Impact as the Canadian side hosted Colorado Rapids. Drogba wasted no time in putting his side into the lead as he stepped up in the 9th minute to score the goal.

The Chelsea legend was one of the best strikers in the world when he was with the Blues. He was a tormentor of defences and won 4 league titles with the club. He has achieved legendary status at the club and rightfully so.

Drogba’s finest moment in a blue shirt probably came in 2012. His team were trailing 1-0 against Bayern Munich in the Champions League final with only a few minutes to play. Cue Didier Drogba. The striker leaped highest to power home a bullet header and equalize and take the tie into extra time.

The man himself scored the winning penalty that sent his teammates into a flurry of celebrations. The 38-year showed that age is no bar by returning to the club last year when Jose Mourinho decided to bring him back.

The former African player of the year scored a crucial goal against Manchester United that helped his side share the spoils that day. It looks like he still hasn’t lost his accuracy as he scored for his current side,

His free kick was so good that the keeper could not even get a finger to it as it flew past him in an instant.

Here is the video of his goal:
