Mats Hummels addresses Borussia Dortmund supporters after their 0-1 defeat to Augsburg at Signal Iduna Park

It has been a tough year for Borussia Dortmund as they find themselves at the bottom of the Bundesliga table with just four wins in 19 matches, and are on the verge of being relegated to the second division.

Clearly, the plight to watch their team struggle has hit the Borussia Dortmund more hard than anyone else as it was barely two years ago when they were witnessing the club in a Champions League final match.

The poor run of form continued this Wednesday as well as they succumbed to yet another loss at the hands of Augsburg at home in front of 80,000 spectators with Raul Bobadilla scoring the only goal in the game, despite the away team being a man down in the final 30-minutes of the match.

Not surprisingly, the fans had enough of it and they were not shy of expressing their frustration, especially since Dortmund should have comfortably won the game if not for poor finishing.

Captain Mats Hummels and vice-captain Roman Weidenfeller would then go on to converse with the irked supporters as they tried to calm them down following their 11th league loss this season.
