What happens when you try to sneak behind enemy lines to jeer at the opposition? Yes, folks, you dramatically fall off from a 30-foot stadium fence. It was a shocking moment when a young football hooligan clattered onto the ground behind the goal after slipping from a high fence used to stop balls from flying into the stands.

A die-hard Juventud Antoniana supporter had climbed up to taunt fans of Club Villa Mitre just to see himself crashing on the floor a few seconds later. The 22-year-old Juan Diaz falls down in a crucial moment as a cross is knocked into the 18-yard box.

Diaz wasn’t done yet as he then took off an officer’s cap to throw it towards the crowd while he was being carried off on a stretcher. The incident took place in the Padre Ernesto Martearena Stadium in the second half of the match and the fan had to be admitted into a hospital.

Dr Fabio Gutierrez, who treated the fan, said: “He was diagnosed on site with multiple traumas due to falling from such a great height but in the end it was nothing too serious.”

Diaz is reported to be charged by the police for climbing the fence and inciting violence. Despite all the trouble Diaz took to cheer on his team, the home team lost out by a goal to Club Villa Mitre. The two teams were battling it out in the Torneo Federal A, which is a tournament in the Argentine football league system.

The highlight of the game is definitely the 30 foot fall taken by the crazy fan in order to distract the other side. Luckily, the fan did not suffer from any further serious injuries and survived a potential tragic fall.
