Gareth Bale’s trick goes terribly wrong in training session

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale’s time at Madrid has been far from a walk in the park. The Welshman has struggled to establish himself as the fan-favourite of the Santiago Bernabeu since his world record move from Tottenham. With a Cristiano Ronaldo in front of him in the pecking order, no-one perhaps expected Bale to become Madrid’s numero uno star. But Bale’s time at Madrid has seen him being continuously criticised and sometimes booed by his own fans.

Bale couldn’t have done his dipping self-confidence any favours during Real Madrid’s final training session ahead of Sunday’s clash against Elche, when his attempted cheeky flick went terribly wrong during a keep-the-ball drill.
