Ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League tie against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, manager Jose Mourinho spoke to media in a press conference.

The Portuguese revealed that Nathan Ake will be out of action for a few weeks owning it his hamstring injury while Diego Costa and Andre Schurrle have completed their recovery. When asked about Ramires, he insists that despite not being in a very good condition, the Brazillian continues to improve.

"Diego Costa is totally recovered, the same with [Andre] Schurrle. [Cesc] Fabregas hopefully will be fit, Ramires can play, his injury is improving, but he is not in very good condition,” he said, "Costa has spent the last two weeks with the Chelsea physio, we feel he is free of all those injuries."

The biggest revelation from the conference was Mourinho’s comments over out of favour Petr Cech’s future at the club.

"Not once has Petr knocked on the door to inform me of his desire to accept some proposal," Mourinho said. "Petr Cech is our goalkeeper and he has a contract for two more years. He is a fantastic professional."

On Chelsea’s fixture against West Brom, he said, "I expect a tight match, against a team that know they can get a result against us because they have done it in the past. We go to every match thinking we can win, but the reality is that they have a good team, they can give us a very difficult match."
