Video: Luca Zidane gets sent off after using his head aggressively

Luca Zidane playing for the France Under-17 squad

In Sunday's youth match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, Zinedine Zidane's second son, Luca Zidane had a forgetful outing when he was sent off in a 2-4 loss. He brought back memories of his father's infamous headbutt when he was sent off for pressing heads against an opponent.

French football legend, Zinedine Zidane is well appreciated all around the footballing world for his skills on the field. His first touch was arguably the best in modern football. The elegance and grace with which he played was a sight to behold for any football fan.

However, he showed his human side during the 2006 FIFA World Cup Final when he reacted to a remark by Marco Materazzi and ended up headbutting the Italian defender. Zidane would bow out of the game that he had mastered in probably the most tragic form – serving a ban.

Nine years on, the 43-year-old Zidane is now the manager of Real Madrid Castilla, which is Real Madrid's reserve team playing in the second division of Spanish football. His oldest son, 20-year-old Enzo Alan Zidane Fernandez, plays as a midfielder for Real Madrid Castilla.

Zidane and his wife, Veronique Fernandez, have four sons, all of whom are playing in the Real Madrid youth system. His second son, 17-year-old Luca Zinedine Zidane Fernandez, plays as a goalkeeper for Juvenil A while his two younger sons, Theo and Elyaz play as midfielders for Infantil A and Alevin B respectively.

Luca was instrumental in France's European Under-17 Championships earlier this year as France beat Germany to win their second U-17 title. He saved two penalties in the semi-finals of the competition to lead his team into the finals. However, he also missed scoring a penalty as he attempted a panenka in the very same match.

The below video shows footage from the youth match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Although Luca conceded four goals, he does look like the modern version of the goalkeeper – the sweeper keeper – made famous by Germany national keeper Manuel Neuer.

The moment of madness from Luca Zidane comes at the end of the video. Fast forward to 1:57.
