Arsenal’s Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski confirmed his departure from Arsenal in a post-match interview after Arsenal defeated Hull City 3-2 after extra time to lift the FA Cup for a 11th time ending their trophy drought of 9 years.

It was Fabianski’s last match for the Gunners as manager Arsene Wenger left first-choice goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny on the bench. Fabianski has been preferred in cup matches and Wenger continued to use him.

Fabianski had joined Arsenal in 2007 from Legia Warszawa for an amount said to be around £2.1 million.
