Video: Marco Reus finds new way to score, makes goalkeeper feel stupid

Marco Reus celebrates scoring the third goal for Borussia Dortmund

It is very well known that Marco Reus is one of the most coveted footballers on the planet and that he is a man of many talents.

He has been pivotal to Borussia Dortmund’s revival in the recent few weeks, and the opposition know that the winger can hurt them in many ways. The Ruhr derby saw a demonstration of a few of those abilities, as Reus scored Dortmund’s third goal in a slightly odd manner, closing down the Schalke goalkeeper, and tackling the ball into the goal.

Reus took advantage of some casual goalkeeping from Schalke’s Timon Wellenreuther as he closed down the goalkeeper, and slid in to tackle the ball in while Wellenreuther exhibited a lot of indecision.

The German international remains one of the most coveted players in world football, despite having signed a new contract with Borussia Dortmund, and this goal was just another reminder of how team-oriented he is, as he wasn’t ready to take it easy even when his team were leading 2-0 in the 85th minute.
