Marco Reus scored the second goal for Borussia Dortmund

It wasn’t just his amazing pass to set-up the goal for his teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang during Borussia Dortmund’s 4-2 win over Mainz as he grabbed himself, second for the Bundesliga side who are now 14th in the table.

The 25-year-old recently signed a long-term contract with his current club after being constantly linked with a move to Real Madrid, Chelsea and many other European clubs throughout the winter transfer window.

After conceding a quick early goal through Elkin Soto, Dortmund reacted well with a goal just five minutes later from Neven Subotic. They would score once again, but this time through their main man Marco Reus in the 55th minute as he easily went past Mainz goalkeeper Stefanos Kapino following a pass from Kevin Kampl to give Borussia Dortmund the lead.
