Video: Nani makes amazing back-heel pass to referee in Sporting-Chelsea game

Sporting Lisbon hosted Chelsea in the Champions League last night, a game they lost 1-0 thanks to a Nemanja Matic header.

But there was one moment in the game that had fans in splits – and it involved Manchester United loanee Nani.

He had the ball near the edge of the box and then made his way inside with Branislav Ivanovic marking him. He then drew the Serbian defender out of position (or so he thought) which allowed a teammate to overlap and make use of the space.

Sensing a run, Nani faked a shot and cut back a pass to – wait for it – the referee!
