No one likes a player who dives, and despite being a fan favourite almost everywhere he plays, Ronaldinho shouldn’t be an exception either. The Brazilian, who is currently playing in Mexico, dived in what was a very horrible attempt at that.
Ronaldinho is currently playing in the Liga MX and is contracted to Queretaro. During their 2-1 win against Morelia, the former Barcelona and Milan star produced a horrible piece of simulation after anticipating foul from a slide tackle. There was no contact at all, and the referee witnessed it, brandishing Ronaldinho a yellow card.
Diving is an ever growing problem in football but Ronaldinho isn’t really known for that. So maybe we could just cut him some slack.
