Sevilla are the reigning Europa League champions, and their 3-1 win over Standard Liege finds the Spanish side in the top spot in their group, with two points ahead of second-placed Feyenoord.
But, the highlight from the night remains to be skipper Jose Antonia Reyes’s goal, or let me correct it by saying, Sevilla’s goal because such was the chemistry that the players had which led to the second goal for Sevilla in the 41st minute.
After picking up the ball from thirty yards out, Reyes initiated a one-two with Denis Suarez and Diogi, followed by a fast-paced run by the former Arsenal forward who finished the ball with a close-composed finish.
