Kusum, a young 15-year-old footballer associated with the YUWA foundation, an NGO based in Jharkhand, has gone with her YUWA team to Spain and USA to play football tournaments on foreign shores. This year she's off to Canada to speak at two 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup events.
YUWA is a non-profit corporation that uses girls team sports as a means to empower women.
