Manchester United and England forward Wayne Rooney took part in Q&A session for his official website where he picked the two best players he has played with at the Theatre of Dreams. He also pointed out his best moments in the red jersey and the best goals he has scored for the Red Devils.
Rooney has netted a total of 245 goals for Manchester United which is just 4 short of the legendary Sir Bobby Charlton. It is expected that Rooney would become the highest goal scorer for United in the near future.
Rooney’s achievements do not end there. He has also won 5 Premier League titles, a Champions league and an FA Cup with arguably the most popular club in the world, Manchester united.

When asked about the two best players he has played with Rooney picked Paul Scholes and Cristiano Ronaldo. Rooney was all praise for the two players and has had a wonderful relationship with both of them.
Rooney was quoted, “I'd say there are two that stand out and they’re Paul Scholes and Cristiano Ronaldo.”
The England striker hailed Paul Scholes as one of the best midfielders of the game and explained how it was playing alongside the Englishman in the Manchester United team.
“Paul Scholes is one of the best midfielders of all time. His passing, vision and the way he controlled the tempo of games was incredible”.
The current Manchester United star also recollected the training sessions he had with Cristiano Ronaldo and called the Portuguese “Special”. Rooney and Ronaldo have been the best of friends from their United days.
He said, “Cristiano is a special player and he has gone on to be one of the best in the world. Some of the things he used to do in training and then take into games was unbelievable, he'll always be remembered as one of the greats of the game.”

Not only this, when asked about the best players Rooney has faced Rooney picked his choices wisely. He named FC Porto’s Iker Casillas as the best goalkeeper and Chelsea’s John Terry as the best defender. Xavi, the former Barcelona midfielder, also made it to Rooney’s list of best players in the midfield section whereas Lionel Messi summed up the list as a striker.
