While people were still streaming into the stadium and trying to find their seats at the Parc des Princes stadium, Zlatan Ibrahimovic had already given Paris Saint-Germain the lead over Caen with an incredibly taken goal. The clock showed 1:12 when he scored and he even picked up a yellow card for removing his shirt while celebrating.

But you would excuse him for celebrating a little too much after a goal like this. Serge Aurier controlled a ball on the right flank, waited a split second before sending in a looping cross that was met by Ibrahimovic’s right foot. But what was so special?

Well, the Swedish striker met the ball with his foot while he was in the air with his foot almost level with his face – easily more than six feet off the ground! While a defender was looking to clear the ball away with his head, Ibrahimovic got to it first and sent the ball past the goalkeeper, who reacted too late, and into the right corner.

PSG fail to capitalize, Ibrahimovic suspended for Monaco game

Ezequiel Lavezzi doubled the lead before half-time but Caen eventually scored two goals in the final two minutes to win a point. Moreover, this was Ibrahimovic’s third yellow card in 10 games and he will now miss the crucial Ligue 1 encounter against Monaco.

This was PSG’s best chance to move to the top of the table but the last minute collapse denied them the opportunity to leapfrog Marseille and Lyon (who have a game in hand).
