Characters 'Meat' and 'Drahmin' will not be appearing in Mortal Kombat X

Scorpion in Mortal Kombat X

All this while NetherRealm Studios have been revealing the characters that will appear in Mortal Kombat X’s rooster. But this time, series creator Ed Boon has revealed two characters that will not be making an appearance on Mortal Kombat X, though they are pretty obscure and fans may not really miss them.

Some fans had asked Boon via Twitter if the character called ‘Meat’ will be included in the games Roster. Boon responded with a simple ‘No’. For those of you who don’t know, the character was made up of flesh and blood but no skin. The affectionately called “Meat” first appeared in Mortal Kombat 4, and though he wasn’t really popular he still added to the game’s gore factor.

The second character excluded from the games Rooster is ‘Drahmin’. A fan asked Boon bring to the character to back in Mortal Kombat X, to which he responded with another quick and simple ‘No’. Drahmin is an odd looking character with a bright green mask that first made his appearance in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. Much like Meat, Drahmin is also missing a good bit of skin and isn’t exactly popular among Mortal Kombat fans.

So players will not be missing out much with the exclusion of these two characters. On the other hand, NetherRealm Studios are set to reveal two new characters for Mortal Kombat X. The game is slated to release on April 14th for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
