The popular creation of Deck 13, Lords of the Fallen seems to be awaiting a heavy update which will be the game’s first expansion, titled Ancient Labyrinth which is expected to come to Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this winter.
Overall the game was not able to hold a successful stature in the eyes of the critics yet it seems to have developed a cult status which was evident when their sales propelled, after shipping 700,000 units to retailers. This surge in the sales might have pushed scales in the favor of the idea of a follow-up for the original title as Deck 13 and executive producer of the title has confirmed development on Lords Of The Fallen 2.
As confirmed by attackofthefanboy Executive producer, Tomasz Gop revealed the news on his Facebook Page “We’re now working on vision and concepts for Lords 2,” but he was unwilling to share any further details on the development being that it was early. This gives hope for fans of the new IP to see that it will take it further. The original title had its share of flaws especially when it came to the RPG system of the game. We hope that the follow-up won’t bear these flaws, we will keep you posted on any advancements in this regard.
