Microsoft’s exclusive creation Microsoft Flight Simulator X is all set to be re-released for Steam on December 18th . This release is a part of Microsoft’s new Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition. Originally developed by Dovetail Games in 2006, Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition is a game featuring authentic re-creations of several different flyable aircraft, including helicopters, commercial jets, fighter jets, and small single-engine planes.
New Content of the Steam Edition
The Steam Edition will feature "enhanced multiplayer functionality," Windows 8.1 support, over 24,000 airports, and developer Dovetail Games - of Train Simulator fame - is planning to spruce the package up with DLC coming in the new year. The Microsoft Flight Simulator series is known for its die hard realism as it does everything in its power to simulate actually being a pilot. X features over 20 aircrafts across more than 80 missions like rescue challenges, races and other disaster scenarios.
Packed with new content the steam edition of the game sure sounds to be hoot , of course we wll know better after its release on December 18th .
