According to Sony, for the first time ever in franchise history, MLB 15 The Show will have licensed gear.
The game will feature officially licensed clothing and gear that the real players use on the actual field. Nice of the most iconic brands will be seen in this game.
Brands that will be introduced to the game are Nike, Franklin, Under Armor and many others. The licensed equipment include bats, gloves, shoes and hats.
Some of the players have said that the game, MLB 15 The Show is slowly getting closer to the real thing. The players feel this is a good way to promote the type of equipment that the MLB uses in real life.
MLB 15 The Show will be released on March 31st for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.
In other news, Sony has announced that they will be stopping the services for MLB 14 The Show. According to Sony, the online servers will be stopped from June 18th.
This news is a surprise as most games usually stay online for about 18 months. It has been just 14 months since MLB 14 The Show went online but it looks like Sony wants to bring in MLB 15 The Show into the limelight.
