Fans of the iconic Rainbow Six series will have to wait on the release of the latest game in the series titles Rainbow Six Siege after developer Ubisoft announced that the release would be pushed further.

A statement from the company reads:

“This wasn’t an easy decision, but based on the feedback we’ve received, and based on our own internal tests, we felt there are adjustments and improvements we can make, including improving the co-op experience across all game modes, weapon and gadget balancing, as well as menu and interface navigation. We’re taking a little more time to make these changes, and we think it’s the right call.”

Rainbow Six Siege was originally set to release on October 13th release across all major platforms, but Ubisoft felt there was room for improvement based on the feedback received from some users. However, the release of the beta version of the game will go ahead as planned and will see the light of day on September 24th.

Ubisoft thanked the fans of the franchise by stating:

“Bringing Rainbow Six Siege to life continues to be an incredible experience, and we’d like to thank all fans for your feedback, support, and unwavering enthusiasm. We couldn’t make the game without you. We hope you’re all excited for the upcoming closed beta on September 24.”

Let’s hope the changes made are worth the wait and result in a better game. Until then the beta version should keep gamers occupied nicely.
