Raven's Cry release date delayed to December 16th

Release date delayed again

Raven’s Cry, the dark realistic action-adventure RPG title by Reality Pump Studios and Topware Interactive, has been delayed yet again. Even though it is from a smaller publisher, the game is one of the more anticipated titles which was originally slated for release on November 27th this year. The game had already been delayed since 2013.

Delays can happen for several reasons and sometimes developers just cannot meet the deadline because the game requires more tweaking and polish. So at times it’s unavoidable, and the same has happened again with Ravens Cry. The game has been delayed since 2013, with the developers failing to meet their schedule multiple times this year. So fans were eagerly awaiting its release on November 27th, but when the day did arrive they were hit with an unexpected notice that the games release has yet again been delayed, this time to December 16th.

So while delays can’t be helped, the whole delay for Raven’s Cry was completely surprising, as the Studio did not release an official warning prior to the games original release on November 27th. So pre-orderers were pretty upset when they were unexpectedly handed a notice stating the games delay, that too on the release date itself.

The revised release date for Raven’s Cry is now December 16th for the Mac, Linux, PC and Steam OC. The game is expected to arrive for the consoles in early 2015. It will be available for the PS3, PS4, and Xbox 360. Here’s hoping that the game does not get delayed once again. Check out our preview for Ravens Cry right here.
