Xbox Store leaks release date for Need for Speed

Need for Speed’s release date leaked

A release date for EA’s upcoming racing title, Need for Speed, may have just been leaked. Xbox Games store seems to have made a blunder by listing the details and release date for the racing reboot. The leak was taken down pretty quickly once they noticed their mistake, however, many had already gotten a peak at the listing by then.

According to a report by Eurogamer, the game store listed that the reboot will be out on November 3rd, 2015. The listing has since been removed, so it is likely an official date. However, it is best to wait for some official news from EA.

Besides the release date, the leak also revealed some cool new information on the upcoming game such as the five different ways in which you can play it. These five modes include Style, Speed, Crew, Build and Outlaw. The game will also have a story mode for players to try out. According to the listing, players will be given the option to choose their own path. There are also “multiple overlapping stories” to make this mode interesting. Players will also have a chance to boost their reputation to become an ultimate icon”.

EA had announced a Need for Speed reboot just last week. While they did mention that the game was not another Underground 3 remake, it will still include some of Underground’s gameplay elements.

So for now, it seems the release date for Need for Speed is November 3rd. Hopefully EA will have some more info on the game in the coming months.
