K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering is proud to present our Annual Sports Festival, Skream! Skream is only in its second year and has already started scaling new heights by becoming a National Level Sports Festival! The festival shall be hosting events in 13 different disciplines this year with splendid opening and closing ceremonies.
So what is it that makes Skream so special? Skream is not just another sports festival. It holds a very special place in the hearts of Somaiyites. Skream is playing host to a number of top teams, not just from Mumbai, but from across India as well. The Somaiya Vidyavihar Campus houses 34 institutes, which house over 20,000 students and all of them participate in Skream in huge numbers.
In addition to the huge participation, Skream shall be hosted on some of the best sports facilities Mumbai has to offer. The Somaiya Sports Complex has World-class facilities like a floodlit Basketball Court, floodlit Tennis Court and a floodlit Olympic standard Athletics Track and Football Ground, which shall be playing host to all the Skream events.
With participations in large numbers and top facilities, the competition in Skream is bound to be very high. And that is why, Skream is introducing the Contingent System this year, where the college that scores maximum points wins the Skream Shield along with special prizes.
