Mark Jackson's catchphrases in Hindi- "Momma! There goes that man!"

Marc Jackson won’t be an announcer for a while. He’s been signed by the Golden State Warriors as a head coach. As a commentator, he’s responsible for many a fan tearing their hair from the roots at his oft repeated catchphrases. Whenever the game would fade out to a timeout, I’d frantically look for the remote control to mute the TV before he proclaims “Mamma! There goes that man!” and drives me over the edge. It led me to wonder if his pet phrases would have the same punch if he uttered them in Hindi. You decide. Here are a few of his favourite quotes translated in Hindi:

Maa, woh gaya woh aadmi.“Momma, there goes that man.”

Haath niche, aadmi niche.“Hand down! Man down!”

Shama karna. Meri rim ke saath ek mulakaat hai.“Excuse me, I have a meeting with the rim!”

Tum usse behtar ho.“You’re better than that!”

Apna krodh nirnayak pe nahi, rim pe nikalo.“Don’t take your frustration out on the refs, take it out on the rim!”

Jab uska ank bulaya jaata hai, woh taiyaar milta hai.“When his number is called he’s ready.”

Woh waha ek baalig chaal hai.“That’s a grown man move right there.”

Bina jaan ki parvaah kare!“With no regard for human life!”

Fheka hatoda niche!“Throws the hammer down”
