Bhullar to promote Thailand Golf Tourism

New Delhi - The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) here Wednesday appointed Indian golfer Gaganjeet Bhullar as their brand ambassador to promote golf tourism across Thailand.

Runjuan Tongrut, director of TAT, said: “We are very delighted to have Gaganjeet Bhullar on board. He is one of India’s most promising golfer and we believe he will be a huge inspiration to golfers in India. We believe that this corporation will bring a long-term relationship between Thai and Indian golfers. He also takes care of junior golfers under Gaganjeet Bhullar Foundation, to which TAT has also contributed some amount to the foundation through him.”

Commenting on his association with Amazing Thailand, the 24-year-old Bhullar said: “I have quite often played tournaments in Thailand and whenever I go there, I end up meeting people from Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC), Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC) or Delhi Golf Club (DGC). I believe it is a great initiative to popularise the game among Indians. I look forward to be associated with Thailand and feel very privileged by this gesture from TAT.”
