Godrej Properties set to host season four of the Annual Golf Challenge

Godrej Properties Limited (GPL) the real estate development arm of the Godrej Group is set to host the annual Godrej Properties Golf Challenge (GPGC) with its fourth edition. This year’s edition tees off at Classic Golf Resort, Gurgaon on Saturday, November 15th.

In line with the successful format that was adopted for the third edition, the tournament will feature six different golf clubs across the country including reigning national champions, Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC). The winners of the two handicap categories from each city leg will be qualified to play at Bangkok and compete in the International Final scheduled to be held on January 24th.

In a sign of the event’s burgeoning popularity, season four of the GPGC is set to witness a total participation of over 1000 golfers. Round two takes place at the Karnataka Golf Association on November 29 with the Willingdon Sports Club in Mumbai slated to host round three the following day. RCGC, Qutab Golf Course in Delhi and the Oxford Golf and Country Club in Pune will host the remaining city legs on December 7, December 13 and January 10 respectively.

The tournament, which will be managed by PMG, will follow the Stableford Points System across two handicap categories as usual: 0-12 & 13-24 (3/4 Nett Stableford Points). Any member of a participating club can play in the tournament provided they have a valid handicap from that club.
