The TAKE Chennai team & Laqshya Mumbai Team share the lead at 4- Under par (Best of 2 scores) at the end of Day 1 of the Louis Philippe Cup. The TAKE Chennai team comprising of SSP Chawrasia, Khalin Joshi and Chikkarangappa put on a good show with a steady 3-Under par round from Khalin Joshi and 1-Under par round from Chikka to give the team the lead. Similarly the Laqshya Mumbai team with stars Jyoti Randhawa, Mukesh Kumar and Manav Jaini were helped with rounds of 3-Under par from Randhawa and 1-Under par from Mukesh Kumar.
The individual leaderboard saw TAKE Chennai’s Khalin Joshi, Navratna Ahmedabad’s Shankar Das and Laqshya Mumbai’s Jyoti Randhawa tied at 3-Under par.
The 4th Edition of the Louis Philippe Cup is being held at Karnataka Golf Association, Bengaluru and the 7 City Team Pro Golf league, considered the IPL of Golf, has a total purse of Rs. 1.2 Crore.
The tournament is played over 54-Holes (3 days) in a strokeplay format with prize money for the team and individual scores. Each team comprises of 3 Pros.
