  1. Start by taking the weight off your feet and sitting on a chair in a relaxed pose. Keep your spine straight.
  2. Set your fist down on either side of the vertebrae on your lower back. Massage vigorously up and down for a minute until the friction gives the sense of heat.
  3. Putting your middle and index fingers under one side of the base of the skull, use the thumb of the same hand on the other side to gently press the base of your skull. With the middle-finger of your other hand, gently press the point located just between your eyebrows. Breathe deeply as you hold this point for balancing your endocrine system.
  4. Hold on to it for a couple of minutes before slowly releasing all points. Lean the head backward in a comfy posture, shut your peepers and breathe in and out lungful of air three to four times. Remember, you should breathe slowly, and the breaths must be long, deep ones. As you continue to breathe deep and slow, exercise your brain to scan and locate the tension point in your body. Now, as you breathe out, allow the tension to pour out of your body until or unless you can sense that your body is letting go of the tension and tautness in you. Carry on breathing intensely for a couple of minutes. As you inhale, envision the curative power flowing into your body.
  5. Hold three finger-widths below your naval on your lower abdomen. Sit erect, keeping your shoulders in an unperturbed, hassle-free position. Shut your eyes, compress this point tightly and take a deep breath for at least one more minute.
