Delhi Waveriders all set for home clash against Ranchi Rhinos tomorrow

New Delhi, 11 February 2014: Having secured a comfortable position in the tournament so far, Delhi Waveriders are all set for the clash against Ranchi Rhinos tomorrow in Delhi. The match being a crucial one to make an entry into the semifinals, both the teams will play hard in an effort to book their slots. As the semifinal and final matches are to be played on its home turf, it is imperative for Ranchi Rhinos to be one of the teams playing there.

For both the teams, the match would be a must win and also a platform to gear up for the final matches. Delhi Waveriders, which are sitting on the top position so far, will be looking to maintain the standards they have displayed in the previous matches, whereas Ranchi Rhinos, having secured the third position on the basis of the matches played, will put in their best to give a tough fight to the opposition team and to maintain their defending champions title.

Speaking on the sidelines of the match tomorrow, Delhi Waveriders captain Sardar Singh said, “Ranchi Rhinos are a strong team and they will give us a good fight. However, we have prepared ourselves accordingly. Though playing on the home ground always serves as an advantage we will ensure that we do not disappoint the fans here. We will put in our best efforts to put forward a good match for the crowd.”

Talking about the opposition team and the match tomorrow, Coach of Ranchi Rhinos Gregg Clarck said, “Delhi Waveriders are a strong team and are on the top position so far. It will be a tough match tomorrow, and we are all prepared to give cut-throat competition. The opponent team has an advantage of playing on home ground; however, our team is confident and will get down on the field with enthusiastic spirit and a strong determination to win.”
