Chhattisgarh, Raipur, 21st November 2015: India will play their second match of the three match test series against Australia on 22nd November 2015 at the newly inaugurated Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel International Stadium, Raipur.

The newly inaugurated stadium is also scheduled to host the coveted Hero Hockey World League Final from the 27th November – 6th December 2015. This will be the first ever international match hosted by Raipur, and a lot of crowd support is expected as was seen in the last match at Rajnandgaon.

The last match, first of the three match series saw the game end in a draw with India and Australia levelled at 2-2. V Raghunath scored for India on both the occasions, and expectations from him only rise in the second match slated tomorrow.

“It was a good game, but the last minute encroachment by the opponents into our area only exposed the areas we still need to take control of. We have addressed the concern areas and our hopeful of a better show tomorrow. The crowd support has been tremendous, and with such terrific support, we are charged to give in our best and not disappoint our fans,” said Director High Performance and Chief Coach Indian Men Team, Roelant Oltmans.

India will play Australia in the second match of the three match series tomorrow at 18:30 hrs at Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The match will be telecast LIVE & Exclusive on Star Sports.
