Sports Authority of India announced the appointment of former Dutch national coach Paul van Ass as the new coach of the Indian men’s hockey team. Anthony Thornton of New Zealand will be in charge of the women’s national side.
Hockey India President Narinder Batra finalised the names in a meeting along with secretary sports Ajit Sharan, interim coach Roelant Oltmans and Olympian Harbinder Singh.
