A small village on the outskirts of Jalandhar in Punjab, with a population of around 4000-5000, Sansarpur has given the world 14 Olympians out of which 9 have played for India, 4 for Kenya and one player for Canada. And all those 14 players have come out of the same street. But recent drug menace of Punjab among others has been the major reason behind Sansarpur’s downfall in Indian hockey.
