Bengal Warriors coach Raj Narain believes his team can stop U Mumba's winning run

Bengal Warriors have had two thrilling encounters at their home ground this season – both were decided in the last-minute. They will face U Mumba today, the team who is undefeated in Star Sports Pro Kabaddi 2015 till now. U Mumba have established themselves as the team to beat this season after creating history by winning all their matches in the home leg.

Bengal coach Raj Narain Sharma spoke to SportsKeeda today morning and revealed information about their preparations and strategy against U Mumba.

He looked satisfied with the performance of the team in last two matches. Bengal Warriors coach Raj Narain said that the defence is playing good so it’s better to concentrate more against an attacking U Mumba. He is confident of breaking U Mumba’s winning streak.

“Our team played really good in last two matches. Yesterday also we played good, but in the last 30 seconds Bajirao Hodage did one mistake, which cost us defeat in that match,” coach Raj Narain said.

The Warriors coach also revealed that they have observed each of the Mumbai raiders and have chalked out a strategy for them.

“We are preparing our strategy against U Mumba right now. We are planning our defence strategy according to the every single raider of U Mumba. Our defence is playing good. We were the only team to all out Telugu Titans in Star Sports Pro Kabaddi 2015 till now. We will break their unbeaten run in the tournament,” claimed Narain.

“When it comes to our defence strategy, we focused heavily on their main raiders Shabeer Bapu and Anup Kumar. We also have in mind that Jeeva Kumar is doing well in defence, so we instructed our raiders to raid in opposite side to him.”

He concluded by thanking the supporters of Kolkata and assured that the team will do well in future.

“We are very thankful to the people of Kolkata for their support. We got very good support from the people of Kolkata. We will try to play much better in the future,” he signed off.
