Bengaluru Bulls beat Jaipur Pink Panthers 36-26 to notch up their first home win of the third season. Rajesh Narwal was the lone fighter for the visitors, with 11 points, while a team effort from the Bulls saw them overturn a half-time deficit in a dominant second half.

The visitors took an early 2-1 lead by the 4th minute, but the crowd roared the Bulls on and they went on a 9-point run. In 5 minutes, the home team completed an all out on the visitors to establish a health 10-2 lead.

The undeterred Jaipur side showed their quality and hit back straight away inflicting an all out of their own . By the 15th minute, parity was restored when Shrikant Tewthia was tackled in the Jaipur half to the dismay of the fans. Both the teams exchanged blows till the end of the half, but the visitors went into the break leading 14-13.

Rajesh Narwal was involved in the first major action of the second half as he returned to his half with 2 points after a successful raid and Ran Singh won a point to extend Jaipur’s lead to 5 points. Despite being the lone man on the mat for his team, Amit Rathi started the Bengaluru fightback with 2 points while Ran Singh was caught in a super tackle.

The Bulls tackled Rajesh in another super tackle and took the lead 21-19 and reduced the Pink Panthers to 3 men. They got the third all out of the match by tackling Kuldeep Singh in the 32nd minute to lead 26-21 in front of a vociferous home crowd.

The final stages of the match saw the visitors throw in the towel as the home team put finishing touches on their first home win of the campaign. A third all out on the Jaipur Pink Panthers was inflicted by the energetic Bulls as they sealed out the match 36-26.
