Boudha Dojo of Kathmandu, capital city of Nepal finished top of the Second GP Koirala Memorial Valley-wide Karate Championship, winning eight gold, two silver and five bronze medals. Lainchaur Dojo secured second position with three gold, six silver and nine bronze medals. Aruj Dangol of Lainchaur Dojo and Manisha Moktan of Bauddha Dojo were declared the best male and female players of the tournament respectively.
Total of 400 players had competed for 21 gold medals of the championship.
The championship was organized in the memory of Late Prime Minister of Nepal Girija Prasad Koirala.
