FC Goa earned their first points of the ISL season, as they drew 1-1 with Atletico de Kolkata at the Rabindra Sarobar stadium.
Sameegh Doutie opened the scoring with perhaps a goal-of-the-season contender, volleying a stunning strike into the top corner to give ATK the lead in the 6th minute. FC Goa responded well, with Trindade going close twice in the first half, but were unable to score, trailing by a solitary goal going into the break.
Pearson's red card in the 52nd minute handed the advantage to Goa, but they squandered it away soon after, with Sanjay being sent off in the 60th minute as both sides went down to 10 men. Borja conceded a penalty in the 76th minute, handling in the box, and Jofre duly converted against his former side, earning Goa's first points of the season.

89' ALMOST A GOAL! Borja nearly catches out Roy with a lofted shot, and as he scrambles back, he breathes a sigh of relief as the ATK midfielder's shot goes over the bar.
88' Jofre sends in a gorgeous free-kick from the right into the penalty box, but Debjit comes out and punches the ball clear. The referee blows the whistle for a foul on the ATK keeper and relieves the pressure.
86' SO CLOSE! Julio Cesar sends in a peach of a cross from the left, and Jofre is inches away from connecting at the far post and tapping into an open net.
85' SHOT! Lara does well to find Doutie on the edge of the box, but he is crowded out and lays the ball off to an onrushing Bikramjit. The midfielder hammers a strike towards goal, but it is straight at Roy in the FC Goa goal.
84' Julio Cesar replaces Rafael
82' Lucky! Sereno goes in feet flying with a wild challenge to deny Mandar Rao Desai on the byline, but his aim is off and the Goan winger evades the tackle with a jump.
81' Nearly! Doutie tries to do it all himself, dribbling into the box, but a heavy touch allows Arnolin to clear.
79' Oh no... Doutie does well to get past his marker on the right wing with a clever drop of the shoulder, but tries to shoot from an impossible angle, instead of crossing.
78' Hume goes off to be replaced by Belenconso
75' Jofre works his way into the box from the left with a swivel of his hips, but Sereno clears the ball for a corner.
71' WHAT A SAVE! Doutie backheels the ball to Hume in space on the edge of the box, and the ATK striker hammers a low drive towards the bottom corner, only for Roy to palm the ball away with his fingertips
69' Arnolin clears the ball out for a corner, and has a few words of encouragement for his side as they face a corner. His defenders respond, as FC Goa clear Lara's corner.
67' Sereno with a good clearance from Mandar Rao Desai's cross. The Portugal defender, who once shared the pitch with Cristiano Ronaldo, has looked MUCH better in the second half.
65' The game has become rather sloppy in the last few minutes, as both sides try to deal with the new players on the pitch and the changes in formations.
63' Mandar Rao Desi comes on for Robin Singh
62' Javi Lara sends the free-kick over the bar. That's both sides now down to ten men, after Sanjay was sent off for a poor challenge on Prabir Das at the edge of the box, with studs raised.

58' SAVE! Javi Lara tries to catch the keeper out with a free-kick from the left wing, but the Spaniard's inswinging strike aimed at the far post, is tipped over by Roy. The FC Goa keeper collects the subsequent corner as well.
57' Romeo comes in to replace Keenan Almeida
55' Bikramjit comes on to replace Ruidas. Surprising decision from Molina, as he was their best outlet, but there is a need for experience and strength in the middle of the park, i.e, Bikramjit.
54' Goa have a great chance to come back into the match, as Kolkata scramble to rejig their formation.
52' No arguments there. Pearson with a disgraceful tackle as he charges into Trindade from the side and causes him some major damage. The FC Goa player receives treatment.
52' WHAT A SHOT! That would have been some goal - Borja lets fly from about 35 yards out and his effort swerves wildly but clears the top corner.
51' YELLOW CARD! No surprises that it's Robin Singh. He comes deep to receive the ball and tugs Borja down cynically
50' Another great run from Ruidas on the left! He gets to the byline and lifts a cross to the far post, but Dumas clears the ball before Hume could get to it.
49' A relatively quiet start to the second half, as Kolkata are sitting deep and inviting Goa to break their defensive block. The Gaurs aren't up to it!
46' Goa attack right from the off, and earn a corner. Jofre opts to take the delivery with his left foot, but Debjit collects comfortably.
46' PEEP PEEP PEEP! Atletico get us underway in the second half. No changes for either side.

The best part of that first half, though, was the performance of Abhinash Ruidas on the left wing, as he has tormented Keenan Almeida. Ruidas has played for the Indian U-23 side, and it is hugely encouraging for this Mohun Bagan youth product who has interstingly enough, played for East Bengal!
Jose Molina will be slightly concerned though, as Sereno has looked a bit slow and understandably has had communication issues with his defence.
FC Goa will be really disappointed to be still behind though, the Gaurs have arguably been the better side for much of the first half.
That Sameegh Doutie goal was an absolute pleasure to watch, and for my money, it's the best goal in the ISL so far. Can you think of any other contenders? Use the Live chat window if you want to have your say.
FC Goa are staring down the barrel of their 4th consecutive defeat, and it's all thanks to Sameehg Doutie, as the South African produced a wonderful first-time volley to open the scoring for ATK in the 6th minute.
The Gaurs have come back strongly into the match though, with Trindade going close twice for Goa. However, Kolkata are having their moments, with Ruidas troubling the Goan defence greatly on the left wing.
