The game, as a whole, was dull but Manchester United will not care. They have progressed to the knockouts. FC Zorya will take heart from the display as despite ending up on the losing side they had plenty of positives. They held their own in the game and even threatened to score on a few occasions.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan opened the scoring for Mourinho's side, netting his first goal since his move to Old Trafford from Signal Iduna Park in the summer. Zlatan then pounced on a crafty through ball from Pogba and sealed the game for his side.

It is the biggest ever defeat in the short European career of Zorya but they will be proud to come up against some of Europe's biggest teams. Although there will be some disappointment for returning without a win from the group stage.

73' Chance! Zorya comes close to scoring the equaliser as Romero is forced to make a good save to keep his side ahead. The hosts had won a free-kick and it was diverted towards the goal but Romero was at hand to save it.

71' Bailly is still struggling to shake off the injury but makes his way back onto the pitch. Phil Jones was prepared to come on but he was not required to.

69' It is Bonaventure again who wins an aerial challenge against Bailly before letting go from distance. But his shot is a tame one and sails harmlessly wide. Bailly is down and looks to be in some pain. If he is injured it will be a huge blow for Manchester United with the defender only just returning to fitness.
67' Bonaventure has been lively since coming on is found by his teammate at the edge of the box and he tries to blast through into the box but is stopped by Manchester United.

Manchester United make their first change of the game and Mata is clearly not happy with the decision as he makes his way down the tunnel, instead of towards the bench.
64' Zorya are threatening the away side from the wings. They have broken clear on a few occasions and it is Petriak who tries to create problems for them down the left flank but is blocked.
63' Zlatan tries to break into the Zorya box but he is blocked and united have a throw in.
60' Bonaventure tries to make things happen as he cuts in from the right and leaves Bailly for dead but his touch is heavy and United clear.
Mkhitaryan's goal was his first in Manchester United colors in his 11th appearance but what a way to get it!!

58' Zlatan finds the ball just inside the box and unleashes a powerful shot towards the Zorya goal. Levchenko is equal to it and holds on.

Manchester United have the lead now but Fenerbahce are still winning. At this moment but the teams qualify but the Red Devils need the Turkish side to drop points if they are to top the group.
Mkhitaryan wins the ball in midfield and goes on a run before cutting in and nutmegging a Zorya player as he is clear through on goal and has only the keeper to beat. He slots it towards the right of Levchenko who fails to save it. A good goal from the under-fire midfielder.

46' There is smoke towards the end of the Zorya keeper. Another firecracker possibly.

We are minutes away from the restart as the players start to assemble in the tunnel. Mourinho will be hoping that his players come good on a weathered pitch.
Manchester United had the lion share of possession in the first half but failed to capitalise on it. Overall the encounter has been a dull affair but Zorya have threatened at times and will fancy a smash and grab win against the English side.

45+1' Manchester United play a low corner and the ball is crossed into the box which Pogba brings down but is not able to control. Zorya clear and it falls to Rojo, who tries to go for goal from the edge of the box but it sails wide.
45' CLOSE! Rooney at it again. He lets one go from 25 yards and it had the keeper worried who somehow manages to get a hand to it and tip it over the bar.
44' Rooney lets one go from distance and the shot is sailing wide but the keeper does not take a chance and latches on to it.
43' Young finds the ball passes it to Zlatan who tries to thread one through to Rooney but the Englishman can not get there. Mourinho is not impressed with what he has seen from his side so far in the game.
