62': Bony shoots and wastes another opportunity as it is parried away. He showed great strength to win the ball, turn and advance forward. But Toure is unhappy that he didn't go for the pass instead.

60': It's all tiki-taka for Pep's City at the moment but Dortmund's high line has kept them at bay. They're struggling to find an opening and whenever one of Aguero, Bony or Silva make a run they are flagged for offside.

50': City playing with a little more purpose now. Aguero still has pace to burn and makes a surging run through the midfield. But he passes it back to Toure under pressure who finds Bony in an offside position.

47': Sergio Aguero looks a bit on the heavy side. Looks like he's been gorging on food to get over the Copa America loss during his holidays. It's going to take a while to return to full fitness.

HALF-TIME: Manchester City 0-0 Borussia Dortmund

45+1': Iheanachooooo... SAVED! That was their best chance of the half but Burki ensures the Nigerian striker doesn't find the target. What a save!

45': Navas is through on the right after a neat one-two but Bartra is on hand again to make a sliding tackle to stop Navas in his tracks. That was well read by the former Barca defender.

44': Dortmund have a corner and the delivery into the box is perfect! However, the ball is headed away by Otamendi who was first to it. A superb clearance!

42': A little bit of tiredness creeping in thanks to the climate. We'll surely see some changes at half-time.

38': The pitch is breaking up in certain sections and not exactly conducive to a good game of football. The players are clearly struggling and unable to pass along the ground.

35': Schmelzer gets in behind City's defence again on the left. His cut-back sees Emre Mor try and take a shot first time but it's a very comfortable save for Caballero.

34': City have a free-kick. The ball is delivered to the far post but Dortmund clear. The fans are cheering, though. No, not because of the attempt on goal but because a few of the City stars are now warming up on the synthetic track separating the pitch and the stands.

29': Zinchenko tricks now one but two defenders near the box and gets past them both. But City just can't do anything with the ball as it is cleared. That was some decent skill from the 19-year-old midfielder.

28': Dortmund get another chance as a through ball releases Ramos in space behind the two centre-backs. But Caballero comes out again and makes a timely save. That was close!

24': The game comes to a halt for a water break. It's 31 degrees Celsius in Shenzhen today - definitely not what both teams are used to back in Europe!

22': The game has slowed down a bit now that both teams have settled down. City have had some more chances but have simply failed to do anything with the ball in the final third.

18': Delph tries his luck from waaay out and it flies harmlessly over the bar. That was a poor effort after evading two players with a sublime turn just moments before that.
